IDAHO APPLE CRUMB PIE 
4 c. chopped apples
1 c. sugar or to your taste
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 to 2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 tbsp. sour cream
1 unbaked pie shell
Crumb topping

McIntosh, Wealthy, Jonathan, or green Yellow Transparent.

Combine ingredients and spread in pastry-lined pan. Sprinkle with crumb topping. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 30 to 40 minutes longer or until apples are tender.

CRUMB TOPPING:

1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. soft butter

Combine flour and sugar, work in butter.
