APPLE CRUMB PIE 
2-3 lbs. apples, peeled & sliced
1 c. sugar
Cinnamon

CRUMBS:

1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 stick butter

Use 1/2 crumbs for top and 1/2 crumbs for bottom.

Combine apples, sugar and some cinnamon and let stand until it gets a little juicy. Place 1/2 crumb mixture on bottom of 9" pie plate. Pat into place. Put the apples on top of the crumbs and then spread the rest of the crumb mixture on the top of the apples. Bake at 425 degrees for 45 minutes. It's delicious.

You can use any fresh seasonal fruit (peaches are good too), even canned pie fillings are sufficient.
