CREAMY ASPARAGUS SOUP 
1 1/2 lbs. fresh asparagus, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 med. onion, chopped
1 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. butter
1 c. milk
1 c. light cream

In saucepan combine first 4 ingredients. Bring to boiling, cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes. Place asparagus mixture in blender. Stir in milk and cream. If desired, season with salt and pepper. Chill thoroughly. Serve 6 to 8.
