MISSISSIPPI'S BEST PECAN CANDY | |
2 c. sugar 2 c. milk 2 c. water 1/2 stick butter 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. pecans, chopped and toasted Combine first 3 ingredients in saucepan. Cook over low heat stirring frequently to prevent burning. Mixture must cook until thickened about 2 hours. Add butter, vanilla and pecans. Stir well cook about 5 minutes or until firm, not running and all liquid is absorbed. Pour into greased dish, let cool, cut into small squares. Delicious! |
