MEXICAN PECAN CANDY 
Mix:

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. baking soda

Cook until mixture forms soft ball when dropped in cold water. Remove from fire and add:

1 c. pecans

Return to fire, allow to come to a boil again. Add:

1 tsp. vanilla

Beat until it loses it glossy look. Drop from spoon on wax paper.
