WASSAIL - PUNCH 
2 qts. applesauce
1/2 to 1 qt. cranberry juice
1/2 to 1 qt. orange juice
1/2 doz. whole cloves (or 1/2 tsp. loose cloves)
1/3 stick cinnamon (or 1/2 tsp. loose cinnamon)
1/2 tsp. nutmeg or mace
Lemon juice as desired

Simmer for 1 hour and serve warm. (Sweeten as desired.)

VARIED IDEAS:

1. Peel one orange and stud with clove sticks and float on top of juice while simmering.

2. Use all spice, 1/2 tsp., instead of cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg.

3. Use sugar substitute as desired.
