WAGON WHEEL SAUSAGE PIE
1 (12 oz.) pkg. sausage links
3 c. frozen loose pack hash brown potatoes
1/2 c. chopped green onions (with tops)
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3/4 c. Bisquick
1/3 c. milk
2 eggs

1. Cook sausage until very light brown; drain. Generously grease a 10" x 1 1/2" pie plate and spread potatoes out evenly in the pie plate. Mix onions, 2 tablespoons milk, the salt and pepper and cream cheese; spread over potatoes. Arrange sausages in spoke fashion on top.

2. Beat Bisquick, 1/3 cup milk and the eggs with wire whisk or hand beater until almost smooth, about 1 minute; pour around sausages. If desired, refrigerate and bake later.

3. Bake, uncovered at 400 degrees until edge is light brown and center is set. If from room temperature, for 25 to 30 minutes. If chilled, for about 45 minutes.

Makes 5 to 6 servings.
