AMERICAN CHOP SUEY 
1/2 lb. cooked elbow macaroni
3/4 c. chopped onion
2 cloves chopped garlic
1 c. chopped pepper
1/2 c. flour
1 lb. lean hamburger
2 c. tomatoes
1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
Salt and pepper to taste

Boil macaroni to package directions. Saute onion, garlic, salt and pepper in butter, about 5 minutes. Add flour, seasonings and hamburger. Cook 10 minutes. Add tomatoes, mushrooms and macaroni. Mix together. Serve with Italian bread and cheese.
