BROCCOLI RICE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. bag frozen chopped broccoli
1 lg. onion, chopped
1/2 c. milk
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
1/2 c. uncooked rice
2 tbsp. butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
Garlic powder

Saute onion in butter; add soup and milk, stirring until boiling. Add cheese; stir until melted. Add rice and broccoli. Pour into casserole dish. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. (Fresh broccoli can be used; cook it partially.)
