TEXAS BEEF SKILLET 
1 lb. ground lean beef
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can Ranch style beans
1 c. quick cooking rice
3/4 c. water
3 tbsp. chopped green peppers
1 c. shredded sharp American cheese

In a skillet cook ground beef and onion until beef is brown and onion is tender. Sprinkle meat mixture with chili, undrained beans, uncooked rice, water and green peppers. Cover and simmer stirring occasionally for 20 minutes. Top with cheese. Cover and heat until cheese melts about 3 minutes longer. Sprinkle with crushed corn chips if desired.
