TEXAS BEEF SKILLET | |
1 lb. ground chuck 3/4 c. chopped onion 1 can tomatoes 1 can kidney beans 1/2 c. minute rice 1/2 c. water 3 tbsp. chopped bell pepper 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 3/4 c. shredded cheese (Cheddar or American) Corn chips, crushed In skillet, brown meat and onions until done. Drain off fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, undrained beans, rice, water, bell pepper and seasonings. Reduce heat; simmer covered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Top with cheese; cover and heat about 3 minutes until it melts. Sprinkle corn chips around edges. |
