CANOLIE CAKE 
1ST LAYER:

1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine butter, flour and nuts. Press in 13x9x2 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

2ND LAYER:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Cool Whip

Blend, spread on cool crust.

3RD LAYER:

1 lg. pkg. chocolate instant pudding

Make pudding according to package directions. Spread over 2nd layer. Top off with a layer of Cool Whip.
