PORK BARBECUE, N. C. STYLE 
4 lb. Boston butt roast
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. red pepper
1/4 tsp. black pepper

Mix all ingredients except roast in large 4 quart Pyrex dish. Place roast in mixture after mixing well. Cover with lid and bake at 325 degrees for 5 hours. Remove from oven and let cool. Remove roast from sauce. Remove meat from bone and spread meat with fork. It falls apart. Return meat to sauce in pan and stir the sauce into the meat. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes or until heated. May serve over rice or on hamburger rolls.
