WILD TURKEY DELUXE | |
2 green peppers, cut into thin strips 1/4 pimento, diced 1/2 tsp. onion salt 2 (7 oz.) bottles 7-Up 6 c. diced cooked turkey 1/2 c. butter 6 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Salt to taste 1 c. light cream Cook green peppers in butter over low heat until softened. Blend in flour thoroughly then add pimento, Worcestershire sauce, onion salt, and salt. Stir in 7-Up and cream and continue to cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Add turkey and continue to cook until thoroughly heated, stirring constantly. Serve over rice or noodles, if desired. Yields 12 servings. |
