SOUR CREAM RAISIN BARS 
2 cups raisins
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 3/4 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 egg yolks
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups sour cream
2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook raisins and water 10 minutes; drain. Cream butter and brown sugar; add oatmeal, flour and baking soda and mix well. Press 1/2 of the mixture into a 9x13-inch pan. Bake 7 minutes at 350°F.

Cook drained raisins with egg yolks, sugar, sour cream, cornstarch and vanilla until it thickens. Pour over baked crust and top with remaining oatmeal mixture. Bake for 25 minutes at 350°F. When cool, cut into squares.
