1 lb. ground beef
2 tsp. butter
Chopped onion
Green pepper
1 can tomato soup
1 can mushrooms
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (6 oz.) pkg. wide noodles
5 slices American cheese

Lightly brown meat and onion and pepper in butter. Add soup, mushrooms (large or small can), salt and pepper. Mix well and simmer.

In the meantime, cook noodles in salted water. Drain.

Combine noodles and meat sauce in baking dish. Top with cheese slices and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. I bake it longer.
