IOWA HAMBURGER-CORN PIE 
1 lb. hamburger
1/4 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
20-24 pitted black olives, sliced
1 1/2 - 3 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cornmeal

Cook and stir hamburger, sausage, onion and garlic until meat is brown; drain. Stir in tomatoes with liquid into ungreased baking dish 9x9x2 or 12x7-1/2x2-inch, or 2-quart casserole.

Combine cornmeal, milk and eggs; pour over meat mixture. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Bake in 350°F oven until golden brown, 40-50 minutes. Garnish with parsley sprigs and black olives.

Serves 8.
