HAMBURGER-CORN PIE 
1 lb. lean hamburger
1/4 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped finely
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can corn, drained
20-24 pitted ripe olives
2-3 tsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. milk
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese

Cook and stir hamburger, pork sausage, onion, and garlic until meat is brown; drain. Stir in tomatoes, corn, olives, chili powder and salt. Heat until boiling. Pour into 2-quart ungreased casserole dish.

Mix cornmeal, milk and eggs; pour over meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Cook at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes or until golden brown. Makes about 8 servings.
