PINEAPPLE DROP COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. crushed pineapple, not drained
1 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped

Cream shortening, sugars, eggs and salt. Add pineapple. Sift flour with baking soda. Save 1/2 cup flour to mix with nuts and add 3 1/2 cups flour to creamed ingredients. Add floured nuts to mixture. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes until light brown. Stores and freezes well. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
