CHICKEN AND RICE CASSEROLE | |
3 lg. chicken breasts 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup 4 servings rice 1 sm. jar Jolly Green Giant sliced mushrooms 8 oz. Velveeta cheese Pepper to taste Boil chicken breast in a large pan. In a separate pan cook your rice according to directions. I use Minute Rice. In a large bowl put your cream of chicken soup, Lipton onion soup, cheese (diced), mushrooms and pepper. Remove chicken from water, dice and add to soup mixture. Add cooked rice to soup/chicken mixture. Stir until all is mixed together. Add a couple of tablespoons of water to mixture and stir again. Place in a casserole dish and dot with butter. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and cook casserole until it bubbles thru and thru. |
