DOUBLE-DIPPED FRENCH TOAST 
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 lg. loaf French bread, sliced

Mix ingredients well. Dip bread into mixture and let rest for 10 minutes. Dip pieces again and fry in butter until cooked through, brown and crispy. Serves 3 to 4.
