BUTTERMILK RAISIN PIE 
1 c. raisins
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 scant tsp. cloves
Pinch of salt

Mix ingredients, pour into unbaked pie shell. Cover with top crust and bake in preheated 450 degree oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for about 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
