KING'S ARMS TAVERN OLD-FASHIONED
RAISIN RICE PUDDING
 
4 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
2 c. milk
1 1/3 c. cooked rice
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. nutmeg
2/3 c. seedless raisins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 2 quart casserole.

Combine eggs, sugar and milk and beat well. Fold in the rice and remaining ingredients. Pour into prepared casserole dish and place over a pan of boiling water in 350 degree oven and bake for 45 minutes or until custard is set. 8 servings.
