TEXAS TORNADO CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. fruit cocktail including syrup
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix sugar, eggs, fruit cocktail, baking soda and flour. Pour into 13 x 8 x 2 inch greased pan. Mix nuts, brown sugar and sprinkle on batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Spread icing on cake while hot.

ICING:

1 stick butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. flaked coconut

Combine all ingredients, boil 2 minutes and spread on cake.
