TEXAS TORNADO CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. fruit cocktail
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts

Sift baking powder and flour. Add sugar, eggs, and fruit cocktail. Blend well. Pour batter into well greased, lightly floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix the brown sugar with nuts. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.

ICING:

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. flaked coconut

Boil the butter, sugar, and milk together for 2 minutes. Stir in coconut. Mix well. Spoon over hot cake.
