TEXAS TORNADO CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. undrained fruit cocktail
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. nuts (chopped)

Cream sugar and eggs together. Mix and add other ingredients except for brown sugar and nuts. Mix brown sugar and nuts and sprinkle on batter. Pour into lightly greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes.

ICING:

1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. flaked coconut

Boil butter, sugar and milk for 2 minutes. Add coconut. Spread on cake as soon as it is removed from oven.
