FRENCH BEEF 
2 lbs. stew beef
2 med. onions, diced
2 tbsp. bread crumbs
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. water
1 sm. can mushrooms

Makes its own gravy. DON'T BROWN MEAT. Mix all ingredients together in covered casserole and bake at 325 degrees for 3 to 4 hours. Serve on rice or noodles.
