BEEF WITH WALNUTS AND KIWI 
4 oz. sliced roast beef
1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts, toasted
12 slices French bread, 1/4" thick

Mix together:

1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. wine vinegar
1 tbsp. fresh snipped dill
1 sm. clove crushed garlic

Put meat in mixture and marinade 30 minutes, covered. Drain marinade. To assemble, arrange one piece beef with walnuts onto bread round. Top with kiwi slice, garnish with pimiento. Yield: 12 appetizers.
