DEVIL'S FOOD CAKE | |
1 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 2 eggs 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. buttermilk 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. flour 3 tbsp. cocoa Salt 1 c. boiling water Bake at 350 degrees. FUDGE ICING: 2 c. sugar 2 squares chocolate 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. milk 1/4 c. white Karo Stir over low heat until chocolate and butter melts. Stirring constantly. Bring to rapid boil. Boil one minute. Remove from heat and cool until lukewarm. Add vanilla and beat until it makes a consistency to spread. |
