CRUNCHY BERRY SALAD 
2 2/3 c. pretzels
3 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. butter
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 sm. pkg. Cool Whip
2 pkgs. strawberry Jello
2 c. boiling water
1 pt. frozen strawberries

Cream 3 tablespoons sugar and butter; add crushed pretzels and press this mixture into a 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, cream the cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust and refrigerate. Mix the Jello, boiling water and frozen berries, stirring well. Let this thicken slightly and pour over cream cheese. Refrigerate until serving time.
