SAUERKRAUT AND SPARERIBS | |
1 qt. sauerkraut 3 c. water 2 1/2 lbs. lean spareribs 1 can (12 oz.) beer 1 pkg. hot dogs 8 med. potatoes, cook for mashed 1 box Bisquick or Jiffy mix - dumplings recipe from box Combine spareribs, sauerkraut (fluid too), water and beer in pan. Bring to a boil. Cook until spare ribs are done. Add hot dogs. Turn to medium heat. Make your dumpling mixture from your Bisquick or Jiffy. When hot dogs are done add your dumplings on top of everything in pan. Put a lid on the pan at this time. Cook potatoes for mashed potatoes. Serve mashed potatoes first and the rest will be served on top of these. |
