HASH BROWN CASSEROLE 
1 bag frozen hash browns
1/2 c. melted butter
1 medium onion
1 (8 oz.) pkg. sour cream
2 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded (can use 3 c. if you like a lot of cheese)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 bag Frito-Lays plain chips

Mix in a large bowl the frozen hash browns, melted butter, onions, sour cream, mushroom soup and half of the Cheddar cheese. Spread mixture in a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Top with remaining cheese. Take bag of chips and crumble into small pieces. Cover entire dish with chips.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.

Dish may be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated overnight. Enjoy! Always a party favorite.
