SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. melted butter
1 c. pecan meats, coarsely chopped
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell

Mix eggs, sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla and butter. Spread pecans in bottom of pie shell. Pour in filling. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees) 50 to 60 minutes or until filling is thick.
