MAC AND CHEESE/CORN CASSEROLE 
1 can whole kernel corn (including liquid)
1 can cream-style corn
1 c. uncooked macaroni
1 c. cheese, cubed or grated (I use 1/2 c. Velveeta and 1/2 c. Cheddar)
1 stick melted butter
salt and pepper to taste

Optional Additions:

1/2 c. minced bell pepper
1/2 c. onion

Melt butter in casserole dish. Dump in both cans of corn, raw macaroni, cheese and optional ingredients (if desired). Stir to distribute ingredients evenly in dish. You can add some additional grated cheese on top if desired (no such thing as too much cheese). Cover with foil or lid.

Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 30 minutes. Uncover and cook 15 minutes more.

Makes a great side dish for ham, turkey or smoked sausage.

Recipe can be doubled; extend baking time to 1 hour (45 minutes, covered).

For a one-dish entre, add 1 to 2 cups ham or smoked sausage pieces or 1 pound cooked hamburger meat, seasoned to taste.
