SALISBURY STEAK WITH WINE 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 cans beefy mushroom soup
1/4 c. burgundy or dry red wine (I use whatever I have - usually blackberry)

Mix thoroughly 1/3 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs and egg. Shape into oval patties. Brown patties. Combine remaining soup, wine and 1/3 cup + 1/2 can to 1 can water. Pour over patties and simmer until done (about 1 hour). 1 tablespoon tapioca added to the soup mixture will help thicken the sauce.
