FRENCH PUFFS "LITTLE CAKES" 
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. sifted flour (I prefer "cake" flour)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
1/2 c. milk

Mix in order given. Alternate dry ingredients and milk. Bake in greased and floured miniature muffin tins for about 15 minutes, depending on oven. Turn out of pan immediately. Roll in melted butter, 1/3 cup, and then roll in a mixture of 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon mixed. Delicious warm! Good cold, too! Freeze well!

Use miniature muffin tins, makes 36 tiny cakes. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or so.
