1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa

Mix all ingredients together in order listed, beating until smooth. Drop by rounded teaspoons to buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 7 minutes. Cool and make sandwiches using Marshmallow Filling.

MARSHMALLOW FILLING:

1/2 c. shortening
2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. marshmallow whip
1 tsp. vanilla
3-4 tsp. milk

Cream shortening and sugar together and beat in other ingredients. Spread between cookies to make sandwiches.
