STRING-BEAN SPECIAL 
2 (10 oz.) French style green beans
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. minced onion
6 oz. slivered almonds
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Garlic powder
1 c. milk
1 c. sour cream
4 oz. sharp Cheddar

Cook beans until just tender. Melt butter, add onion, almonds, cook over medium heat until onions are transparent. Remove from heat and blend in flour, salt, pepper, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and garlic. Heat until mixture bubbles. Remove from heat and gradually add milk and sour cream, stirring constantly. Cook 2-3 minutes stirring constantly. Drain beans and add to sauce. Toss gently, turn into baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Serves 6-8.
