SPINACH SALAD 
2 bunches of spinach
1 sm. purple onion
3/4 lb. grated Swiss cheese
1 c. cottage cheese, drain
1/2 lb. bacon, cook crisp
1 hd. ice berg lettuce
3/4 lb. mushrooms

Tear spinach and lettuce into bite size. Slice onion thin and break into bite- size pieces. Slice mushrooms thin.

DRESSING:

3/4 tbsp. poppy seed
3/4 c. oil
3/4 tbsp. grated onion
1 tbsp. mustard
1/3 c. white vinegar
1/3 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt

The secret to this salad is to make sure all lettuce and vegetables are dry.
