2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. water
1 (4 oz.) bar German sweet chocolate
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. cinnamon
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. buttermilk

Mix sugar and flour. Bring butter, Crisco, water and chocolate to boil, pour into sugar mixture, mix well. Add eggs, bananas and cinnamon. Mix soda and buttermilk and add to batter. Pour into greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes. Frost while warm with Chocolate Banana Frosting.
