3 3/4 c. white vinegar 4 c. sugar 3 tbsp. salt 4 1/2 tsp. celery seed 4 1/2 tsp. turmeric 3/4 c. mustard seed Prepare cucumbers (enough to fill 7 pint jars). Wash cucumbers well. Cut into 4 long spears. Pour boiling water over spears and let stand overnight. Drain off water and pack into jars. Combine above ingredients to make syrup. Boil well, stir well, pour over cucumbers and seal jars. |
