1 c. butter flavor Crisco
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
5 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 c. flour

Cream Crisco and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, milk and juice. Sift together all dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Do NOT chill. Roll out and cut out cookies. Bake at 375 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes. Makes a lot!
