GRANDMA SAGER'S SUGAR COOKIES 
1 lb. confectioners' sugar
1 lb. butter
6 eggs
1 pt. milk
21 tsp. (7 tbsp.) baking powder
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
10 c. flour

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and add alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Roll out on a floured board to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into shapes for frosting or cut into 3 inch circles, place a raisin in the center and sprinkle sugar on top. Bake in a 350 degree oven until lightly browned. Cool on racks. Frost and decorate cut out cookies with buttercream or royal icing.
