2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. shortening
1 c. sour cream with 1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in it
1 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix all above together. Roll out; cut into desired shapes. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheets, 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Do not let them get too brown.
