2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. butter
3 beaten eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Salt & flavoring
2 c. flour

Mix all together and roll into balls. Dip in sugar and bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
