1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine flour, 1/2 sugar, powder and soda. Add egg, butter, milk and vanilla; mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets, flatten with fork. Sprinkle with sugar.
