MICROWAVE APPLE PIE 
4 c. tart apples (5 to 7)
3/4 to 1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. enriched flour
Dash of salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Slice apples thin. Mix sugar, flour, salt, and spices together. Add to apples. Fill a 9 inch pastry lined pie pan. Dot with butter. Adjust top pie crust and place slits in top crust. Place in microwave on high setting for 10 minutes or until you see the filling boiling. Then place pie in regular oven at 400 degrees until crust is brown, about 10 to 15 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
