APPLE CRANBERRY CRISP
Can either be used as a side-dish or dessert (just add your favorite vanilla ice cream).

5 cups diced granny smith apples (or any tart apple)
1 bag fresh cranberries (or 3 cups)
2/3 cups sugar (can add a little more sugar if desired)
3 tbsp. water

TOPPING:

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups oatmeal
1 cups pecans (finely chopped)
1 cup (2 sticks) butter

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease large baking dish.

Place apples and cranberries in dish. Sprinkle sugar across top. Add water to dampen sugar.

In a separate bowl, toss topping ingredients until well mixed. Spread topping over apple/cranberry mix.

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 40 minutes or until topping is crisp and brown and apple/cranberry mix is bubbly.

Makes about 12 servings.

Enjoy!!!
