Love it. It's simple and so good. I modified by using wheat flour and adding walnuts (about 1/2 cup).

I make this recipe all of the time and love it! I have an addition that everyone has loved - add anise seed (approx 1 tsp., or to taste), some nutmeg/cinnamon and it is a wonderful combination. Chocolate chips with these additions make it something most haven't had but, definitely want again - crowd pleaser.

This was my Great Grandma's recipe too. And I was crushed when I lost my recipe card. But thankfully I found it on the internet after looking at several sites. Perfect recipe for beginners. I've also made muffins from this recipe for Christmas gifts to neighbors. Always a big hit!

I made this today and I have never made anything like this before and it was SUPER easy. The only thing I did different is use some honey in it. I sprinkled sugar on top and cinnamon. This was so good! will be my go to recipe when I want Banana bread.

I added 2 more bananas and 1 box of lemon instant pudding, baked an extra 10 minutes, then right before I pulled out of oven I added grated coconut and crushed pineapple to top, just to warm and oh my is was delicious!

I think I will be using this recipe to make a fruit cake by adding these extras as per reviews and some jellied fruit and nuts. I use to have a very good apple spice cake that I used to make fruit cake (that I lost) but this will work also. Yum yum!
