1 1/4 c. sugar 1 1/4 c. butter 2 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 6 egg whites 6 egg yolks 2 oz. citron 2 oz. raisins Juice of one lemon Rind of 1/2 lemon Cream butter, add eggs, then sugar, last the flour sifted with baking powder and stiffly beaten egg whites. Sprinkle the tin with chopped almonds, add batter. Bake in 325 degree oven for 1 hour. |
